Our Mission

To empower and uplift the voices of Baltimore City residents, we are building a transparent and inclusive community organization that will participate in and shape the future of our community to combat misinformation and special interests.

Our Values

  1. Education and Inclusive Community Engagement: We believe well-informed and engaged neighbors are the cornerstone of a strong democracy. Through education and inclusive community engagement, we hope to create a space for residents to advocate for themselves and their communities. We want to build a culture of broad participation, shared responsibility, and collective power.

  2. Justice & Self-Determination: Every Baltimore City resident has a right to decision-making power. We have the right to advocate for and against policies to ensure they align with equitable access to resources and opportunities. We promote justice and self-determination through our organizing practices. We want to ensure that every community member can fully participate in the democratic process by removing barriers and deterrents to participation.

  3. Combating Misinformation & Special Interests: Our city is particularly vulnerable to misinformation and particular interest agendas due to historic disinvestment, loss of media autonomy, and loss of public trust. These interests can and do undermine our democracy by pouring money and outsized media focus into initiatives crafted by a few to influence the masses. We are challenging these special interests to protect the integrity of our democratic processes and strengthen community trust.
